Captain Tigger & The Lost Tuna is an original artwork hand-burned and coloured on cherry by pyrography artist, Natasha Allen.
The inspiration for this artwork began with a photograph of our cat Tigger wearing a captain's hat. The rest formed while I was lying in bed one night.
Unfortunately, the beginning of this year started off rocky. Tigger got sick and ultimately passed away before I completed this project, so I wasn't able to get a photo of him with it completed (as planned). But I still really love how this turned out. I feel like I captured his personality.
A protective sealant has been applied to all sides.
Signed and year dated on the back.
Approximate size: 6.5 x 9.75 x .75 inches.
One metal hook is installed on the back.
Should not be stored or displayed outdoors or near high humidity to preserve the wood's life.
Due to the nature of original raw wood art, imperfections may be present and wood colouring may vary.
